About
A designer who understands how things are built
I'm a kitchen and joinery designer and SketchUp specialist. I care about designs that look right to the client and work for the workshop that builds them.
Before joinery, I spent 15 years (since 2011) at the Port Said Shipyard (Suez Canal Authority) in metal fabrication. That work taught me precision, how to read engineering drawings, and to take workplace safety seriously. I bring the same habits to every set-out I draw.
Creator of Khazana
I built Khazana, a SketchUp plugin for designing kitchens, wardrobes and furniture. It includes CNC-related modules and is used by kitchen workshops in Egypt and the Gulf. I don't only use design software; I understand it well enough to build tools that make it faster and more accurate for a workshop.
